Digitective
This game was created as part of my study, when we were tasked with creating a game to raise awareness about cycber security in cooperation with ABN AMRO. We had 5 months and a team of 7 people.
To ensure we could deliver the proper product for our client, we conducted a lot of research, which led us to two main pillars for our design. It had to be non-threatening to maximize the learning effect for players, and it had to be immersive to capture them. Based on this, we decided to frame it narratively as a detective who takes on cases for people who think they might be getting scammed, and it is then up to the player to point out what makes the given email or conversation suspicious.
I served as scrum master and team leader for this project, but I also made all of the games UI, which in a game with so much minigameplay and text manipulation turned out to be quite a lot.
