Feed the Kids
This was another group project I have worked on for my study at Saxion. I had a team of 6 people with various roles and specialties, and we had 3 weeks of fulltime work to make this whole thing from scratch.
The idea was a simple game that combines with a cinematic video to raise awareness of the issue of hungry children in the USA framed against the amount of food waste in their society. The game is a cooking simulator where you make lunch for children in a school, while simultaneously probably throwing away a lot of food that has gotten cold or that you have burnt.
During this project I worked as the groups scrum-master, the main system designer, as well as working on most UI elements (both design and functionality), as well as the mediocre rigging and bad animation that we used in the game.
In retrospect, I really disliked the animation and rigging that I did in this game, and have since tried to atleast get my skills in these areas up to mediocre instead of terrible for the cases where I am forced to do these tasks because of team composition during our study, or because of task buildup and deadlines.
